The Sharp GF-305 was a high-end Japanese-market stereo boombox introduced in 1978 as an upgraded version of the GF-303. It was part of Sharp’s early “The Searcher” series. The GF-305 is considered one of Sharp’s most desirable late-1970s “Searcher” models because of its excellent sound quality, variable tape-speed feature, and relatively compact size compared with later giant Sharp boomboxes.
