The LASONIC TRC-931 model run is one of the longest running in boombox history.
With decent quality 8″ woofers and 1” Twitter this boombox does sound pretty good despite it’s cheap construction.
There’s something about the flashy looks, colorful graphics, and sparkly chrome, cheap as they might be,
that simply begs to be squeezed into a collection regardless if it’s a good fit or not. Looks that good can’t be ignored.

According to the owner’s manual, it measures 25″ wide, 14″ tall, and 6″ deep and weighs 19 lbs.
“Continuous” power output is 2x15W RMS into 4 ohms, which if true is actually quite good for a boombox.
“Peak Music Power” (which is really nonsense) is a claimed 2x50W.
Claimed frequency response is 35 to 14,000 Hz, which if true has deeper bass than most boomboxes.
Can play cassette, AM and FM radio in any part of the world power by 10D battery’s or plunge to a ac outlet
or to a DC power source can also work with 110v-120 50/60 Hertz and 220-240 volts at 50/60 hearts.
